Mayela, during her professional development, has complemented her work as an engineer by focusing on providing technical support to legal practice in areas such as environmental law, territorial matters, maritime and aquaculture concessions, energy, mining, water, and natural resources. She has been involved in solar, wind, electric transmission, energy storage, and desalination projects.

She advises companies on project impact analysis and diagnosis, structuring surveys of surface rights on private and public lands, mining concessions, maritime concessions, and electrical concessions. She specializes in strategic area studies and georeferenced reports for infrastructure projects.

Mayela has extensive experience advising clients on permit and authorization processes, including dealings with various public services. These include fiscal easements, onerous use concessions, mining concessions, electrical concessions, maritime concessions, environmental management instruments, and sectoral environmental permits.

Additionally, she assists clients in valuing and calculating compensation for territorial rights related to projects.

Before joining the SPG team, Mayela worked as a specialist in Territorial Management at LavĂ­n Abogados & Consultores, focusing on activities related to surveys, permits, and authorizations for electrical, mining, and maritime concessions in Chile, from an environmental, territorial, and land perspective.
